Hello!

My name is Esther Grossman. I am a skill-based and interdisciplinary generalist who helps institutions, non-profits, and businesses translate meaningful community engagement into long-term strategic programmes or learning experiences through facilitation, programme design and strategic advising. I work remotely from Berlin but blend inspiration, networks and communities across the EMEA region, and North America.

Throughout my career, I have worked to unite diverse voices and navigate cross-cultural landscapes. Over the last 8 years, I have lived on four continents working in a range of fields from entrepreneurship to climate adaption. For top organizations including Malala Fund, UNDP, Changemakerxchange, IRC Wash and the Royal Society of Art.

Community advocacy is at the heart of what I do. I consistently prioritize lived experiences and participatory methods, designing learning journeys and engagement frameworks that resonate deeply with individuals and groups. Whether facilitating dialogue among politicians or creating learning experiences for climate activists, I am committed to fostering sustainable, inclusive, and impactful outcomes in every project I undertake.

I'm always open for a conversation, how can I help?

My approach

No matter the project, I lead with a systems mindset, first establishing clarity for myself—and sometimes the client—about the broader systems and leverage points the project is interacting with. From there, I map stakeholders, design engaging workshops, facilitate dialogue, and support my clients in making sense of it all, mapping it across a long-term horizon for the business, institution, or project.

As a skilled project manager with extensive experience in bringing end-to-end programs to life, I can easily step in and step out for specific elements of this process (e.g., facilitating a stakeholder workshop) or design, manage, and implement larger strategic outcomes. This flexibility depends on client needs, budgets, and timelines.
